Raja Sara returns fire at her detractors
(Malaysia Outlook) – Raja Sara Petra, the social media commentator who called on DAP’s Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud yesterday to explain in what way Umno cheated Malays, has slammed her detractors for being hypocrites.
She said these people claimed that they were fighting for justice and fairness for all Malaysians when in truth they practised double standards in their application of such principles.
“For too long there has been too much hypocrisy.
“The opposition sets certain standards for others while they exempt themselves from these standards,” said Raja Sara, the daughter of the Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamarudin, better known as RPK.
Raja Sara said she was whacked for her statement on Dyana Sofya, but not a single detractor had rebutted what she had said.
Instead, she said the detractors only made disparaging remarks about her vis-à-vis her father.
Ironically, she said these were the same people who defended DAP’s Sungai Pinang assemblyman Lim Siew Khim, whose father Lim Keat Seong was embroiled in a housing graft scandal.
“But they said she should not be blamed for what her father did.
“When it comes to one of their own, you do not carry the sins of your father.
“I, however, am guilty of the ‘sins’ of my father,” said Raja Sara, stressing she had always portrayed herself as what she was.
