Ex-DPP Augustin and wife officially divorced

(The Star) -Former deputy public prosecutor Datuk Stanley Clement Augustin and his businesswoman wife Datuk Nika Gee Siew Yee are officially divorced.

Augustin’s counsel S. Periasamy told reporters after both parties met Family Court judge Justice Mariah Ahmad in chambers Tuesday.

Periasamy said the marriage was dissolved by mutual consent with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, Gee’s counsel Choo Dee Wei said that the couple was now officially divorced.

“They are now on their own,” he said.

Based on the divorce petition filed on December, 2014, Augustin married Gee on Apr 24, 2007 which was registered at the National Registration Department in Putrajaya, two days before Augustin retired from public service as a deputy public prosecutor.

Augustin was a Malaysian and was domiciled in Malaysia when the petition was filed. He had served in various capacities including senior positions in the Judicial and Legal Services from 1982 to April 2007.
