Ku Nan: Who is Kadir Jasin?
BN secretary general says veteran newsman, a ‘somebody’ before, is being vengeful after being ‘left out.’
(FMT) – Barisan Nasional Secretary General Tengku Adnan Mansor has slammed veteran newsman A Kadir Jasin for the latter’s recent comments against the ruling government.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a Hari Raya Aidiladha event here, Adnan, popularly known as Ku Nan, said Kadir was being vengeful.
“Who is Kadir? Why are you worried about Kadir? You must understand why Kadir is outspoken.
“He was somebody before, but when the new regime took over, he was asked to leave. He is vengeful.”
Ku Nan charged that Kadir was using his feelings to bring down the government, and this was similar to what former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad was doing.
The Federal Territories Minister said the BN government was a caring and responsible government, and it was not nice of Kadir to tarnish it simply because he did not get his way.
Yesterday, Kadir, a former group editor in chief of the New Straits Times, said Prime Minister Najib Razak’s policies had caused untold damage to the economy and misery to the people.
