Jeff Ooi’s racist tendencies will cost PH, says Sara Petra
Raja Sara Petra says Jeff Ooi’s racist tendencies also common among other DAP leaders
(FMT) – DAP lawmaker Jeff Ooi’s recent racist comments may cost the Opposition coalition of Pakatan Harapan valuable Malay votes, says Raja Sara Petra.
“Pakatan Harapan has just lost a sizeable number of Malay votes because of what Jeff Ooi did,” said the daughter of blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin yesterday, in reference to a remark the DAP MP tweeted recently upon hearing of the passing of PAS spiritual leader Haron Din.
“Haron Din was well respected even by non-PAS Malays and this is going to cost DAP dearly,” she said, adding that Ooi’s “racist tendencies” were common among other DAP leaders as well.
“This is not the first time Jeff Ooi has demonstrated racist tendencies and he is not the only DAP leader to do so,” Raja Sara said.
“It is time Malaysians of all races wake up to DAP’s very dangerous game.”
She also drew attention to Ooi’s online spat with political commentator Lim Sian See, arguing that the former’s comments were very personal in nature and had no relevance to the issue at hand.
The spat between the two erupted following Ooi’s Friday retweet on Twitter that read: “Adios Harun Din. Let there be peace.”
“(Ooi) and Lim Sian See hotly debated on Facebook and Twitter regarding the former’s insulting and racist remark.
“Some of Jeff Ooi’s responses to Lim Sian See were very personal in nature and had nothing to do with the issue,” Raja Sara said.
