Superman: Kit Siang using Dr M to topple Najib

DAP firebrand claims Lim Kit Siang is thinking of several ways to save Malaysia.

(FMT) – Former DAP firebrand Hew Kuan Yau claims that the DAP’s Lim Kit Siang is using former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad to save Malaysia and topple the prime minister.

In a brief video clip, Hew claimed the DAP supremo was thinking of various ways, including using the elderly statesman to change the fate of the country, which he said was becoming a “bankrupt police state”.

“We will save Mahathir, then use Mahathir to topple Najib, who is the enemy of the rakyat.”

Hew, who is commonly known as “Superman” for his fondness for wearing T-shirts bearing the superhero’s crest, went on to coin the phrase “qi ma sa ji”, which he explained meant “to ride a horse to kill a chicken”.

“Ma”, he said was Mahathir, while “ji” stood for Najib Razak.

“We use Mahathir to slay the chicken,” he said in the 43-second clip.

Hew also threatened to speak out more if certain quarters demanded he pipe down.

No stranger to controversy, Hew had in July announced his resignation from the secular party “for DAP’s sake” following the hue and cry generated by his controversial Facebook post supporting China’s claim to South China Sea.

This resulted in a flurry of reactions from netizens, with some hitting out at him for not respecting Malaysia’s sovereignty.

In August, he waded into controversy again after he put a racial spin on the achievement of national badminton mixed doubles pair Goh Liu Ying and Chan Peng Soon at the Rio Olympics.

He claimed that if the Chinese had returned to China – a phrase linked to some Umno leaders Malaysia would have come back empty-handed in the Olympics.

Back in May, he was slammed for his “screw the Malays” remark during the Sarawak state elections.
