Both are equally bad, Dr M says of Trump and Clinton

(The Star) – Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed does not like either of the leading candidates for United States president, be it Democrat Senator Hillary Clinton or Republican choice business mogul Donald Trump.

“Both are equally bad,” he said to laughter and applause from the audience.

“From the bad people, who would you choose? I’m much more familiar with (Hillary) Clinton than with (Donald) Trump. Trump is a wildcard. We don’t know what he’s going to do,” said the former prime minister and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) chairman.

“But that is America. The country that rules the world doesn’t even know how to choose good leaders,” he said during a press conference to announce Pribumi’s new supreme leadership council line-up at the Perdana Leadership Foundation on Wednesday.
