PKR’s Adam Rosly dares Jamal to lodge report on his wealth
The Ampang PKR Youth head says it’s not strange to have wealth and titles in this day and age.
(FMT) – Ampang PKR Youth head Adam Rosly has challenged Red Shirts leader Jamal Yunos to lodge a report with the police or Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commision (MACC) over his extraordinary wealth.
The 28-year-old, who is also PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin’s special officer, is alleged to own a luxurious mansion in Jalan Pinang, Ampang.
According to Adam, having wealth or a “Datuk” title was not strange in this day and age.
“Why at 28, I’m rich? Many Malaysians know a lot of young people who are rich and many have received the ‘Datuk’ title.
“I would like to say that I got my ‘Datuk’ title same like Jamal. If he wants to dispute my title, then he (Jamal) also got his Datuk and Datuk Seri titles this year,” he said in front of the Ampang Jaya police station.
Adam also explained that he had bid for the RM1 million house and the property is not worth RM7 million as claimed by Jamal.
“I urge Jamal to lodge reports with the police and MACC. I’m ready to give my statement and cooperate with the authorities.”
Adam was commenting on allegations made by Jamal, who questioned his wealth and his mansion.
Jamal, who took reporters on a helicopter ride to fly over Adam’s house this afternoon, is asking for an explanation of his wealth.
“Adam is very successful and we are questioning how he acquired his wealth.
“We are questioning his success before he became PKR Ampang Youth head and after he got that position.
“We don’t know who he is and what he is working as. We were informed that he is only a SPM leaver,” Jamal said at a press conference outside Adam’s house.
