Democracy means follow the Constitution

The definition of democracy is the rule of the people by the people through majority choice via a representative government. In Malaysia’s case this means 30 million citizens through 15-20 million voters send 222 representatives to Parliament.
As in the UK and US, this may not necessarily mean majority vote but majority seats or something similar such as electoral college.
The opposition does not seem to accept the Westminster system of choosing a government and instead wants to resort to street demonstrations in changing the government. This is certainly something not provided for in a democracy or in the Constitution.
