It is not always about crowd size

Opposition rallies have always been about crowd size. Rallies are basically a show of strength and Bersih is no exception. Since way back the opposition has always demonstrated its show of strength based on the crowd it can mobilise. And the opposition media always talks about the crowd size and number of people a certain event attracts.
If crowd size determines the winner in the elections then the opposition would have won the elections back in 1999. Opposition events have always managed to attract crowds due to the entertainment it provides. We have seen many times during by-elections where the opposition crowd is large and yet they still lose the by-election.
