Shush Dr M if you want our help, PAS tells PPBM
(MMO) – Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia must stop chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad from criticising PAS if it intends for the two parties to cooperate, said the Islamist party’s vice-president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah.
Nik Amar said PPBM cannot be trying to entice the Islamist party at the same time that Dr Mahathir was attacking PAS.
“If Bersatu (PPBM) is true about forming a relationship with PAS against BN in the coming general elections, Mahathir must be careful of what he says, and remember that he is no longer the PM… he must know his limits,” he was quoted as saying by Sinar Harian.
The Kelantan lawmaker also took a swipe at Dr Mahathir for the latter’s newfound affinity for public demonstrations, pointing out that the former prime minister had not allowed such open protests during his time.
