NGO lodges police report over Bersih 5 rally Wikipedia false claim

(Malaysia Outlook) – Sensible Ethical Media Unit Team (SEMUT) has lodged a police report today morning urging the cops to investigate the perpetrator posting false and unverified information in the Bersih 5 rally Wikipedia.
Its monitoring bureau vice chairman Abdul Muzammir bin Abdul Majid in his report stated that around 9.30am when he was browsing Malaysia Outlook story which was published yesterday, found out that the Wikipedia information to be slander in nature and also could create hatred as well as sedition unnecessarily.
The police report was lodged at Seberang Perai Tengah police station.
In the report he also mentioned that the internet protocol (IP) address 124.13.41.253 points to an address in Sarikei, Sarawak.
Within hours of the expose by Malaysia Outlook, the page administrator removed the particular false information.
