Politicians give prostitutes a bad name
You need to trace the last 35 years track record of Malaysian politicians to see how unethical, immoral, manipulative, unprincipled, corrupted and insincere they are. In fact, you would be insulting prostitutes if you call them prostitutes because even prostitutes have dignity while that word is not in the vocabulary of Malaysian politicians.
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
The Malaysian Bar Council today brought to the attention of the court that some 18,000 lawyers will hesitate to represent their clients without fear of favour if counsel are harassed by the authorities. Senior lawyer Tommy Thomas told the Court of Appeal that the Federal Constitution, the Legal Profession Act and Bar Council Etiquette Rules allowed counsel to accept cases, however unpopular their clients were. He was addressing the court on behalf of the Bar Council in the government’s appeal to deny bail to 1MDB critics Khairuddin Abu Hassan and his lawyer Matthias Chang. (READ MORE HERE).
Tommy Thomas: talks only when it benefits the opposition
Tommy Thomas is an Anwar Ibrahim crony and a Pakatan Harapan diehard. In Khairuddin Abu Hassan’s and Matthias Chang’s case he speaks about the right of lawyers to represent their client(s) without getting punished for it. More than nine years ago, on the eve of Hari Raya in 2007, lawyer Rosli Dahlan was arrested, assaulted during his arrest, thrown into a lockup, and charged under trumped-up charges for a crime he never committed.
Rosli’s client, ex-CCID Director Ramli Yusuff, was eventually discharged without his defence being called — which means he was never guilty of any crime and should not have been charged in the first place. In spite of that they refused to drop the charges against Rosli and insisted that they proceed with his trial. The thing is Rosli was charged with abetting Ramli and if the court says Ramli never committed any crime what crime was Rosli guilty of abetting?
I am no lawyer but even I can understand you cannot charge me for being an accessory to, say a bank robbery, when no robbery occurred. More importantly, why did Tommy Thomas keep quiet for more than nine years and until today said nothing regarding the Rosli case? Is that because Rosli does not work for Mahathir like Khairuddin and Matthias does?
Abu Kassim Mohamed arrested Rosli Dahlan in 2007 for doing his job as a lawyer
And this is the same Tommy Thomas who joined Anwar’s team because he considered Mahathir an evil person. Does that mean Tommy Thomas no longer considers Mahathir an evil man who unjustly jailed Anwar on trumped-up charges and fabricated evidence?
Can you see how politicians give prostitutes a bad name?
In 1990, DAP refused to form a coalition with Semangat 46 and PAS. DAP said it would never be able to accept an Islamic party. Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah had no choice but to form two separate coalitions, one with PAS called Angkatan Perpaduan Ummah and another with DAP called Gagasan Rakyat.
In 1993, PAS-Semangat 46 passed the amendments to the the State Sharia laws in the Kelantan State Assembly and DAP said nothing. Basically, since DAP is friends with Semangat 46 they could not whack what PAS-Semangat 46 did in Kelantan. So DAP just kept quiet and did not protest.
In 1999, DAP did a u-turn and decided to join a coalition with PAS after all, which was called Barisan Alternatif. DAP conveniently remained silent regarding the Kelantan Sharia amendment laws that PAS had approved in 1993 and most Chinese and/or DAP supporters were not even aware of this matter.
In 2001, PAS approved the same Sharia amendments in the Terengganu State Assembly and DAP left the coalition using this as the excuse. DAP was actually looking for an excuse to leave Barisan Alternatif because the Chinese had punished them in the 1999 general election resulting in Lim Kit Siang and Karpal Singh both losing their seats.
The Chinese punished Karpal Singh and Lim Kit Siang in 1999 for working with PAS
In 2004, DAP went solo and did not make any deal with the other opposition parties. However, DAP did not really do any better than in the election before that so this proved that the strategy was not working. If DAP wants to do better it cannot go solo and would need to be part of a coalition.
So, in 2008, DAP, yet again, for the third time since 1990, formed a new coalition with PAS and PKR. DAP did not stipulate any conditions to joining this coalition, such as PAS must withdraw its Sharia Amendment Bill in the Kelantan State Assembly that was passed back in 1993.
Meanwhile, in 2009, the DAP-led Pakatan Rakyat government of Perak fell due to an internal power struggle over the post of Menteri Besar. DAP actually held the most number of seats in Perak but it did not have a Malay-Muslim candidate and the State Constitution says the MB must be Malay-Muslim. PKR, the party with the second-most number of seats did not have any suitable candidates either because all their State Assemblymen were morons. Only PAS had qualified candidates; so the job of Menteri Besar was given to PAS.
The PAS Menteri Besar, Nizar Jamaluddin, however, turned out to be a DAP Menteri Besar although he was from PAS. And this upset Anwar Ibrahim who arranged for an Umno State Assemblyman to cross over to PKR on the promise that he would be made the new Menteri Besar. DAP, however, disagreed because Nizar was already doing a good job as a DAP Menteri Besar. With all this pushing and pulling, Perak fell after just nine months in the hands of Pakatan Rakyat.
The anti-Sultan demonstration in Kuala Kangsar after the fall of the DAP-led Perak government
The opposition then blamed HRH the Sultan of Perak for the collapse of Pakatan in Perak and threw stones at His Highness’s car outside the Bukit Chandan palace in Kuala Kangsar, the first time in history such a thing ever happened. If they did this in Thailand there would be hundreds of dead bodies on the streets but then the Chinese in Thailand will never be allowed to be biadap like they are in Malaysia. In that sense the Malaysian Chinese have even more freedom than they have in China or Singapore.
Tok Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat once said that they can agree to close down or disband PAS and all PAS leaders and members can join Umno if Umno can agree to accept Islamic laws. In fact, the whole kafir-mengkafir issue between Umno and PAS erupted in the first place because of Umno’s rejection of Hudud, one of the branches of Sharia laws. Many PAS leaders such as Mustafa Ali also said that PAS was not really interested in winning elections. It was more interested in propagating Islam.
I can imagine PAS being more concerned about Jihad rather than about power. After all, that is what Islam stipulates. There are so many Qur’an verses and Hadith (plus the Sira) where it tells of the duty of Muslims to fight the way of Allah even if you need to apply deception and break treaties you have made.
I will not bore you with a long list of verses from the Qur’an or quote the thousands of Hadith (the plural of Hadith is Ahadith and not Hadiths) because if you had studied Islam you would know what I am talking about without me needing to go into details — and if you have not studied Islam then I would be wasting my time on you anyway (it will be like throwing pearls to swine, if you know what I mean).
Tok Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat said PAS can be disbanded and everyone can join Umno if Umno can accept Islam
Anyway, in 1981, the present PAS President, Tok Guru Abdul Hadi Awang, made it very clear that those who oppose Hudud are kafir and are enemies of Islam. This was what Hadi said more than 35 years ago in 1981:
Kita menentang UMNO, bukan kerana nama dia UMNO. Kita menentang Barisan Nasional bukan kerana dia lama memerintah kerajaan.
In short, any party that espouses a Secular State over an Islamic State, espouses separation of church and state, rejects Islamic laws and adopts infidel/colonial laws, does not espouse Jihad, does not die in the cause of Islam, etc., are the enemies of PAS. And if you collaborate with Christians, Buddhists and Hindus you become kafir or an infidel — and hence are an enemy of Islam.
Is Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man playing a clever game, a hypocrite, or just plain stupid?
This amanat was reinforced in 1983 in Kelantan and again after the 1985 Memali incident in Kedah. Then, in 1999, PAS joined a coalition with DAP, PKR and PRM, three parties that uphold the Secular State, reject the Islamic State, and oppose the Sharia amendments and Hudud. In short, PAS calls you a whore and says it will never accept a whore as a wife and then goes and marries a whore and says whores are better than virgins because you are going to receive 72 virgins in paradise later on anyway, more than you know what to do with even if you bonk three times a day.
Yes, as I said, politicians give prostitutes a bad name. And those Chinese DAP supporters who are products of Chinese schools are so stupid that Umno and Barisan National will always be in power until the end of time.
