Trump nailed it

THE THIRD FORCE 2

The Third Force

Ever since I penned my last article, many have been asking if I’ve decided to call it quits, if politics is no longer my cup of tea. Some accused me of going into recluse simply because I did not want to expose Malaysian officials in a conspiracy to siphon wealth from 1MDB.

That is true, but only in part.

The fact is, my team discovered a massive conspiracy involving a former 1MDB official and a former minister to siphon wealth from the Malaysian fund, wealth which an Emirati businessman helped pull into legitimate assets through the United States financial system.

It remains my duty and responsibility to expose these individuals, along with a host of personalities ranging from politicians to billionaires, journalists to bankers, all of whom had benefited from the Malaysian fund one way or the other.

But the time was not right. My team discovered that some intelligence officers from abroad were waiting for the expose and had planned to use it against the Najib administration. These were quarters in the US that couldn’t take it when I threatened to expose a conspiracy to siphon funds from 1MDB.

Because of this, they fabricated evidence against me and were waiting to splash that evidence in major dailies around the world. Among others, I would have been accused of conspiring with Donald J. Trump and Julian Assange to keep Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak in power. Basically, there were plans to label me as “Malaysia’s very own Julian Assange,” in their exact words.

Perhaps now it is clear to many of you why I chose to remain silent for some time. Sure, I had problems of my own that affected my writing and may still contribute to delays in future publications. But I do not want you guys to think that my three-week hiatus had anything to do with me retiring from the world of politics. If anything, I am about to venture very deep into it, come hell or high water.

That said, let me be clear that the US Department of Justice (DoJ) was correct, that money from 1MDB was stolen. I say this despite there being Malaysian writers who claim otherwise. The very fact that a former 1MDB official had remitted money to an entity he already knew was fake constitutes an error of judgement that the former management of the Malaysian fund must collectively be held accountable for.

Now that Trump has been sworn in the 45th president of the United States (US), it is time for me to break my silence. This Sunday, Malaysians will get the shock of their lives when the long overdue parts nine through eleven of a series I am currently working on are published concurrently in Malaysia Today.

Among others, Malaysian will discover that the people who plotted against 1MDB from abroad were the very same people who brought you the 2008 world financial crisis. Together, we will figure out if funds from 1MDB were indeed stolen, and if so, who stole them.

Once these articles are released, Malaysia will join a host of nations to celebrate president Trump and the dawn of a new era, where the word of the commoner supersedes that of the bigoted philosopher and the crooked politician.

Trump reflected just that in his inaugural address hours ago when he promised Americans that the era where “a handful of people reap the rewards of government” is over, that all of us bleed the same red blood of patriots “whether we are black, brown or white.”

That, in essence, is what the third word is all about.

Trump nailed it.
