KIT SIANG APPROACHED MCA AND GERAKAN. WHAT IS GOIN ON?
(PRU14) – Even before Kit Siang could snare his next prey, Datuk Wee Ka Siong of MCA has exploded it to the public that Kit Siang had requested to approach Presidents of both MCA and Gerakan in his ‘Save Malaysia’ campaign with Dr Mahathir. This is thus a shocking disclosure from MCA when every man on the streets in Malaysia knew that not only UMNO but MCA too has always been Kit Siang’s caustic tongue censure and criticism.
After all negotiations with PAS by Muhyiddin and Azmin are deadlocked, Kit Siang has recently made a public apology to PAS President Hadi Awang to convince everyone that it was done in good faith and as if he was sorry for what had happened until the outbreak of the conflict between them.
It turned out that in the imploring drama with PAS, behind the scene Kit Siang is attempting to win over MCA and Gerakan. It may seem his seriousness to befriend a former close ally but knowing someone crafty such as Kit Siang who is full of the ploy to suit his political interests.
For that, Datuk Wee demanded Kit Siang to first clarify his stand on working with Pakatan Harapan members or PAS or if he prefers over MCA and Gerakan? Next, Datuk Wee questioned Kit Siang if he is acting on behalf of Pakatan Harapan, his party DAP or perhaps it is his own initiative and for himself?
Not only that Datuk Wee is abstruse on Kit Siang’s recent political plot since courting Dr Mahathir, this shocking revelation is certainly demonstrating how desperate Kit Siang, DAP and Dr Mahathir could be. Without even any confirmation from them, both the elders’ intentions to ensure a stronger opposition coalition are in fact nearing to the final curtain call.
MCA was not born yesterday and so are other component parties in Barisan Nasional that they knew Kit Siang and his DAP are untrustworthy partners. For many years, our nation’s political history has witnessed that DAP as the opportunist to extend when they would pawn their principles to court others as long as it could benefit them.
Being consistently inconsistent, DAP once courted PAS only to pinch Malay votes and apparently, they have regarded their archenemy Dr Mahathir and Muhyiddin who are well-known for their ultra-Malay stance, cleansed from all sins and wrongdoings.
Since the beginning, MCA is steadfast in their stand to go against PAS’s hudud law but unlike DAP who has been pulling cords with PAS just to gain Malay support from the party and hence betrayed the non-Muslim community. To MCA, if DAP is serious in opposing PAS’s hudud enactment, why would they revert to PAS once again if it is not meant to betray their supporters successively.
