Kit Siang wants PAS and DAP to reconcile

(The Star) – There is a hope of reconciliation between DAP and PAS – but that decision is up to the Islamist party, says Lim Kit Siang.

The DAP adviser said that PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang has to decide if the party is willing to work with the Pakatan Harapan coalition.

“Either he wants to save Malaysia or save Najib. So let him decide,” he said in a press conference after a meet-the-people programme here Friday.

On Thursday, PKR president Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said it was better if PKR and PAS worked together to defeat Barisan Nasional.
