DAP members restless and jittery, claims Rahman Dahlan

(The Sun Daily) – There are DAP members that are “restless” with how the party is being led, but have no courage to voice it out, Barisan Nasional Strategic Communications Director Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan (pix) claimed.

He said many grassroot members were not satisfied with the dictatorial role played by DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang, who is also the father of DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng.

He added that it did not take a genius to learn that Lim was actually in charge of the party.

“We know grassroots DAP is jittery and restless about the strong arm tactics in the party (but) they don’t dare (to talk). No one dares.

“For those who dare they just quit the party like what happened recently. They quit because they could not stand this trauma, the dictatorial leadership of Lim,” he told reporters when contacted.

Abdul Rahman also said that he did not need a free tuition course on “strategic” as offered by Lim earlier.

Lim during a press conference at the Parliament said he was prepared to provide a course on the meaning of what is strategic and what is not, in response to Abdul Rahman’s earlier remarks that the former had rigged the 2012 DAP party election.

“He does not have to give me a strategic lesson on this because it is a fact,” Abdul Rahman said.

“In fact, the Registrar of Societies has investigated DAP over some of the issues with regards to their elections,” he added.

He added that it was about time for Lim to throw in the towel after failing to lead DAP to topple the ruling coalition until today.

“He has lost and failed to dislodge BN in 13 general elections. Have some shame and dignity, give the leadership to someone else,” he said.
