Remember the day Gani Patail was sacked?
Kit Siang is the master of U-turn. That Chinaman has no shame. He can foam at the mouth and condemn all these people for 20 or 30 years but when he feels he can use them he will hug them and kiss them and call them patriots. Malaysian Chinese should be ashamed they have leaders like Kit Siang. That one Chinaman has given millions of Malaysian Chinese a bad name. Malaysian Chinese are now seen as people with zero principles.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
When President Donald Trump sacked the FBI Director, James Comey, all those who were against him and who were calling for his removal did a 180-degree turn and are now his supporters (see the Fox News 10th May 2017 report below). This was the same when Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak sacked Attorney General Abdul Gani Patail in July 2015. Those who had been demanding his head for 17 years suddenly did a U-turn and started kissing Gani’s hands.
Gani was the prosecutor in Anwar Ibrahim’s Corruption/’Sodomy 1′ trial in 1998 and was the Attorney General during Anwar’s ‘Sodomy 2’ trial ten years later in 2008. In all three cases the opposition accused Gani of fabricating evidence and of conducting sham trails. And in all three trials Anwar was found guilt and was sentence to jail (see the Human Rights Watch 23rd March 2010 report below).
Gani Patail: once the most hated man in Malaysia and now the opposition darling
Until today the opposition still insists that Anwar was fixed up (all three times) and was subjected to sham trials and that he was not guilty of corruption and sodomy on all occasions. Nevertheless, Anwar is still in jail and would not be eligible to contest the next general election in 2018 — or maybe even the 2023 general election if Anwar has to serve his full sentence and is not granted a pardon.
In short, Anwar will be too old to contest the general election by the time he is eligible to contest it in 2028. And that means Anwar is never going to become the Prime Minister, as what the opposition is saying — or more like lying. In three general elections from now, meaning in 2028, when Anwar will be eligible to contest the general election, Anwar will be past 80 and who wants an 80-year old Prime Minister? Even China no longer appoints leaders who are past 80.
And this is all because of Gani Patail. And for 17 years the opposition had been demanding Gani’s head on a silver platter. Finally, in July 2015, Najib did just that. He chopped off Gani’s head and placed it on a silver platter. And that very same day the opposition screamed in protest and said that Gani is a victim of injustice.
Lim Kit Siang: the most opportunistic and unprincipled Chinaman in Malaysia and a disgrace to all Malaysian Chinese
Today the opposition and people like Lim Kit Siang love Gani. However, since the time Gani was sacked in July 2015, has he ever expressed regret on what he did to Anwar? Has he confessed that he fixed Anwar up on fabricated evidence and subjected Anwar to three sham trials? Has Gani admitted that he was asked by a higher authority to make sure that Anwar gets sent to jail (on three occasions) even if they have to fabricate the evidence or rig the trial?
The absence of this confession means Gani is saying that Anwar is guilty of corruption and sodomy and that Anwar was not a victim of a sham trial. So Gani need not say anything. All he needs to do is say nothing. And that silence means Gani is saying Anwar is guilty as charged on all three occasions. And this is the new darling of the opposition, Abdul Gani Patail.
So, is Gani saying Anwar is a victim of sham trials or is he saying Anwar is really guilty of buggering so many boys?
Now can you see why Trump is pissed big time? What he is currently going through is exactly what Najib went through in 2015. People wanted the FBI Director James Comey’s head on a silver platter — just like they wanted Gani Patail’s head on a silver platter. And when Trump did what they want, they did a U-turn and showed support and sympathy towards Comey — just like they did a U-turn and showed support and sympathy towards Gani in 2015.
The opposition is the same all over the world. They can condemn someone one day but when they feel they can exploit a certain situation or event they will do a U-turn and start supporting the very person they condemned for decades.
See how they now support Anwar Ibrahim, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Muhyiddin Yassin, Mukhriz Mahathir, and many more? These are the people they said they are going to hang from the highest tree if the opposition ever gets to march into Putrajaya. Today, these are the people who are going to ‘save Malaysia’.
And Lim Kit Siang is the master of U-turn.

End ‘Charade of Justice’ at Anwar Trial
(Human Rights Watch, 23 Mar 2010) – “The government should end this charade of justice and drop the charges against Anwar,” said Phil Robertson, deputy Asia director at Human Rights Watch. “Every step of the way, the court has blocked Anwar’s lawyers from preparing a thorough defense.”
Other instances of government interference have surfaced during the 20 months since the charges were first levelled against Anwar. The most damaging episode was the involvement of Attorney General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail, who in March 2009 transferred the case from a Sessions Court to the High Court, limiting the defendant’s right to appeal should he lose the case. At the time the attorney general issued the order, he was under investigation by the country’s anti-corruption agency over allegations that he fabricated evidence in Anwar’s first sodomy case, in 1998.

Comey firing prompts leading Dems to do 180-degree turn
James Comey: from pariah to patriot
(Fox News, 10 May 2017) – Top Democrats who just months ago called for FBI Director James Comey to be fired are now blasting President Trump for doing just that.
Just last week, Hillary Clinton blamed the FBI director for costing her the presidency by briefly reopening the investigation into her handling of classified emails. But after Trump sacked Comey Tuesday night, Clinton’s former campaign manager pronounced the move “terrifying.”
“Twilight zone,” Robby Mook wrote on Twitter. “I was as disappointed and frustrated as anyone at how the email investigation was handled. But this terrifies me.”
Just hours before Comey was canned, former Clinton cmpaign chairman John Podesta tweeted: “The American public is getting mildly nauseous listening to Jim Comey.”
Then, after Comey was fired he tweetd: “@realDonaldTrump Didn’t you know you’re supposed to wait til Saturday night to massacre people investigating you?”
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who got a pre-announcement heads-up from the president that the decision had been made, called Comey’s firing “a big mistake.”
“Earlier this afternoon President Trump called me and informed me he was firing Director Comey,” Schumer told reporters. “I told the president, ‘Mr. President with all due respect you are making a big mistake.'”
But just last November, after Trump was elected president, Schumer sang a different tune.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told CNN last year that “Maybe [Comey’s] not in the right job.”
“I think that we have to just get through this election and just see what the casualties are along the way,” she said.
After Trump sent Comey packing, the California Democrat took a decidedly different position.
“The President’s sudden and brazen firing of the FBI Director raises the ghosts of some of the worst Executive Branch abuses,” Pelosi said in a statment.
Other Democrats acknowledged their past remarks about Comey and qualified their criticism of his firing as more about the timing than the substance. Comey recently acknowledged that the bureau is currently investigating Russian involvement in the election, and Democrats charged that firing him was done to short-circuit that probe.
“Donald Trump’s decision to fire him now, in the midst of an investigation into Trump associates and their ties to Russia, is outrageous,” Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., said. “There can be no question that a fully independent special counsel must be appointed to lead this investigation.”
