For Pakatan Harapan To Consider Mahathir, It Would Prove They Are Politically Bankrupt!
(THE MALAYSIAN OBSERVER) – Recently, Tun Mahathir suggested that if his new opposition (DAP-led Pakatan) friends agreed on him being their Prime Minister, he would consider it.
For Pakatan Harapan to even consider Tun Mahathir as Prime Minister would only prove what many are saying; DAP-led Pakatan Harapan is bankrupt on viable candidates of their own whom they can put forth to the public.
If the DAP-led Pakatan opposition has to rely on the 91 year old former Prime Minister many will understand why they have not up to this point in time put forth their choice for Prime Minister.
DAP-led Pakatan’s lack of having groomed, nurtured, discovered anyone of note within their own ranks is a startling testimony about them as an opposition coalition.
Let’s look at those (in no particular order) who DAP-led Pakatan dangled out before the public thus far.
There was former deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin whose name was put forth at least twice. In ‘their’ (PKR backed) Invoke Centre for Policy Initiatives’ surveys even had him as a very popular (37 percent favourable) choice.
As it is with many such surveys; there is little doubt that the DAP-led opposition had called their staunch supporters to get the type of responses they wanted.
There is some certainty that any questions about tilling the soil in another man’s garden did not make it on the list of questions asked.
Next we have Datuk Wan Azizah Ismail the admitted seat warmer who is more comfortable handling Japanese fans than handling a public office or an Aljazeera interview.

While Datuk Wan Azizah is probably a good mother, a good grandmother and loyal wife; she was more than likely competent in her medical profession.
