Should the RCI waste its time on Mahathir?

So why does Mahathir want to waste the time of the RCI by testifying and then say he does not remember what happened, he was not involved, Anwar Ibrahim knows more, go ask Daim since he was the Finance Minister back in the late 1980s when Bank Negara started gambling billions on the forex market, etc?

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

On 15th February 2017, the Cabinet set up a Special Task Force to prepare the groundwork for the setting up up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to investigate the US$10 billion loss (now worth RM99 billion) that Bank Negara suffered from the late 1980s to the early 1990s gambling on the forex market.

At that time Bank Negara acquired a reputation of being the most reckless and the biggest gambler in the world. When George Soros saw that Bank Negara was very exposed, he stepped in and with just a few billion in borrowed money he wiped out Bank Negara in a matter of weeks.

The Opposition Leader in Parliament, Lim Kit Siang, found out about the disaster and in 1993 he asked the Finance Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, about it. Anwar denied it and called it opposition lies and slander.

Kit Siang was the one who demanded the RCI on the Bank Negara forex scandal

But the mess was too big to hide and soon the stink came to the surface. In 1994 Kit Siang again asked Anwar about the matter and this time the Finance Minister said that the loss was not that big as reported, it was only a paper loss, and that the culprit, the Bank Negara Governor, had been punished for it.

Today we know all that is a lie. Hence the RCI needs to find out what really happened, how huge the loss was (which may even be more than US$10 billion if other factors are taken into consideration), and who were the people really behind this. Furthermore, was the entire US$10 billion really lost on the market or was some money syphoned out and disguised as forex losses? There is a suspicion that the forex losses are a camouflage for other crimes, such as money taken out the back door in the middle of the night.

Mahathir and Daim bankrupted Bank Negara and then bankrupted MAS when they ‘sold’ it to cover Bank Negara’s US10 billion losses

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is worried that finally his goose may be cooked. If Anwar Ibrahim testifies at the RCI and confirms that Mahathir and Tun Daim Zainuddin appointed him the new Finance Minister in 1991 for the sole reason of burying the losses that Bank Negara suffered, then that is the end of Mahathir, together with his political and business dynasty.

And that is what Mahathir fears the most. The sins of the father will fall upon the children and Mukhriz, Mokhzani and Mirzan are going to pay for what Mahathir did, maybe even Marina as well. But then the matter is no longer under Mahathir’s control and he is going to suffer the same fate as what he did to Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak regarding the 1MDB matter.

Those who live by the sword die by the sword. And Mahathir is going to find out that others can wield a sword as skilfully as he can, or maybe even more skilfully. And while Mahathir thrusts and parries his sword, Najib is going to swing it and with one swoop cut off his head and the heads of this three sons together.

When someone declares a fight to the finish and only one man standing at the end of it, then expect a fight to the finish with only one man standing. That was what Mahathir wanted and that was what he declared. So he must now suffer the fate of his own doing. He has made his bed and he will have to lie in it. As they say, karma is a bitch, and this time no white woman in London can help Mahathir get out of this one for whatever millions Mahathir may be paying her.

How many millions more will Mahathir have to pay Clare Rewcastle Brown to save him from the RCI investigation into the US$10 billion forex losses?

Mahathir’s lawyer said the old man is prepared to testify in front of the RCI. The question is, should the RCI waste its time with Mahathir? Mahathir is incapable of telling the truth so why should he tell the truth this time?

In November 1999, when Mahathir got caught red-handed with 2,000 phantom voters in his constituency, and the press showed him the evidence and asked him about it, Mahathir did not bother to deny it and just said that even the opposition does the same thing.

To Mahathir, cheating in the general election is no crime since everyone does it. The fact that he was at that time the prime minister is of no consequence. And then he turns around and accuses Najib of cheating in the 1999 general election with 2,000 phantom voters.

That is vintage Mahathir for you.

The same in the Memali case. Mahathir said he knows nothing about the murders because he was in China at that time but now Tun Musa Hitam says Mahathir was not in China but was hiding in his office the entire time.

Yet another lie exposed.

When Anwar said Mahathir asked Petronas to bail out his son’s shipping company to the tune of RM2 billion, Mahathir responded and said that it was not RM2 billion but only RM1 billion and his son lost a lot of money because Anwar refused to pay RM2 billion and only paid RM1 billion.

The fact that RM1 billion or RM2 billion does not matter since it is still taxpayers’ money and hence wrong to use to bail out his son’s bankrupt business seems to have escaped Mahathir. Since Anwar agreed to only RM1 billion and not RM2 billion and since his son lost money that means it is not wrong to use taxpayers’ money to bail out his son.

Megat Junid was behind Mahathir’s ‘Projek M’ which brought in 1.5 million illegal immigrants as ‘Muslim voters’ to topple Joseph Pairin Kitingan’s ‘Christian’ government in Sabah

When the RCI on the Sabah illegal immigrants scandal was held, Mahathir feigned ignorance and said he knows very little about the matter. The person who will know the details is Anwar so the RCI should ask him for the details instead.

Around 1.5 million illegal immigrants were brought into Sabah and were given identity cards. The names of the 1.5 million people were compiled into a thick book, which was sold for RM200 per copy. Ex-officers of the Immigration Department confirmed the whole thing and said that they operated from an office at Kampung Pandan in Kuala Lumpur and reported to Mahathir’s one-time political secretary who was the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Megat Junid Megat Ayub (Mahathir was the Home Affairs Minister).

The fact that Mahathir was behind ‘Projek M’ or ‘Projek IC’ is no secret and yet he denies it and says to ask Anwar. And when cornered like in the case of the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal, Mahathir will just testify and say he cannot remember. And because of Mahathir’s ‘loss of memory’, Ling Liong Sik was acquitted on the charge of cheating the government out of billions.

Yes, the government loses RM12.8 billion and the crook walks free because Mahathir has ‘forgotten’ what really happened. Mahathir forgets something very crucial and very important but he remembers 100 other things.

Mahathir is so full of shit you can smell it all the way to Manchester. But the DAP Chinese love shit and that is why they want Mahathir as their leader. Actually it is good that DAP cosies up to Mahathir. For every minute that DAP sucks up to Mahathir they lose one more vote. And the DAP Chinese would do anything as long as they can win 50  parliament seats in the next general election.

DAP will get full Chinese support but the Malays will mostly be with Barisan Nasional

What these DAP Chinese do not seem to realise is while they may win 50 or 55 seats, PKR, PAN and PPBM are going to lose one seat for every one that DAP wins. So Pakatan Harapan is going to end up with 80 seats with more than half belonging to DAP.  But it is going to be 50 for DAP and about 30 shared by PKR, PAN and PPBM. And that would mean Pakatan Harapan will be truly a Chinese-led coalition after all.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. And in the next general election Pakatan Harapan is going to emerge as a DAP-led or Chinese-led opposition coalition. The Malays will all be in Barisan Nasional and PAS. Hence the prediction that race and religion are going to determine the outcome of the next general election will be proven true after all.
