In 2008 I was detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA) because Jakim alleged I had insulted Islam. The Minister who signed my detention order was Syed Hamid Albar, a person who used to be a friend of mine. That shows in politics there are no friends, as Anwar Ibrahim proved when he repaid my six years service without salary by condemning me in public for disagreeing with his policies on Selangor.
In the end I was proven right, of course, and Anwar was proven wrong when they ousted Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim on fabricated allegations of corruption and had to settle the case out of court by apologising for the lies they said about him. So, was I right or was I right?
If there is one thing very consistent with politicians is they will use you then discard you when they no longer need you. And Malays are the worst of all because they will talk non-stop about Islam, Allah, Prophet Muhammad, jihad, fisabilillah, etc., and then screw you in the back (sometimes literally as well). At least the DAP politicians who do this can be forgiven since screwing you in the back is in their DNA, as PAS discovered the hard way in 2014 after getting screwed once in 1990 and the second time in 2001 (only idiots can get bitten three times before they get shy).
Anyway, they detained me in 2008 because I was alleged to have insulted Islam. I told the eight Special Branch officers who interrogated me I did not insult Islam but insulted Muslims. They still insisted I had insulted Islam and said I should be ashamed that as a Muslim I would insult Islam.
The thing that pissed me off was the all-night long interrogation that the Jakim officers subjected me to. Every hour a new Jakim officer would come to my cell (which is not allowed under the detention rules) and would not let me sleep. They then bombarded me with their religious sermons. This sleep depravation drove me up the wall until I went berserk and started screaming and banging on the wall with my fists.
They challenged me to a debate on Islam and I shouted ‘fook Islam’, ‘fook Muhammad’, ‘fook Allah’. All I needed was to fight back and I did not care how I did it as long as I was able to scream something and upset them. When they came near the peephole in the door I tried to grab the Jakim officers so that I could strangle them to death. So they did not dare come near the hole when they spoke to me because they knew I wanted to kill them.
Dr Vasanta who was in charge of the detainees heard about what Jakim did and she lodged a complaint. She then came to visit me in my cell and I broke down and cried like a baby. I have never forgiven Jakim for the mental torture they subjected me to. If they had opened my cell door instead of shouting at me through the peephole I would have killed them with my bare hands.
Today, Zamihan Mat Zin of Jakim has been arrested. I am so happy that has finally happened after nine years of what they did to me. I will be even happier if he can be kept in jail until the day he dies. Oh, by the way, I told the SB officers that Jakim should be changed to Jakun because all their officers are…well, like Jakuns.
Oh, and one more thing, I told the SB officers that Muslims are Islam’s worst enemies. We do not need Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, etc., to destroy Islam. They should all just sit back and watch Muslims destroy Islam all by themselves.
Hmm…maybe that’s why they decided to cut my 60-day detention short and sent me to Kamunting for rehabilitation after just five days.

Zamihan arrested for sedition
(FMT – Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) officer Zamihan Mat Zin was arrested at the Dang Wangi police headquarters today after going there to give his statement.
Criminal Investigation Department director Wan Ahmad Najmuddin confirmed the arrest which took place at 3.50pm.
An application will be made tomorrow morning for a remand order.
Zamihan courted controversy when he criticised the Johor Sultan for rebuking the operator of a Muslim-only laundrette in Muar.
He also made derogatory remarks about the hygiene of Chinese Malaysians.
The comments were made at a religious talk at Masjid Tengku Ampuan Jemaah in Shah Alam on Sunday. A video of the talk was uploaded on YouTube.
Addressing the congregation there, Zamihan said Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s order for the laundrette to cease its Muslim-only policy was not acceptable.
He also claimed that non-Muslims and the Chinese, in particular, were unclean as they wiped themselves with toilet paper after using the toilet.
“What about the menstrual blood in their undergarments? They hug dogs, drink alcohol and that alcohol drips onto their clothes. They eat pork.
“All these activities are associated with them,” Zamihan said in the talk.
Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun said earlier today that a police report had been lodged against the religious officer.
He added that Zamihan would be investigated for sedition, and that an investigation paper had been opened.
Zamihan has denied being rude to the Johor Sultan, but issued an apology to the ruler.
He also lashed out at the media, claiming he had been slandered and threatening legal action.
