‘Only thing consistent with the Opposition is they are continuously inconsistent’
(MO) – Budget 2018 has been described as the Mother of All Budgets by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak who is also Finance Minister.
He said this was because the budget which he announced through an eighty-page speech was something never before announced and employed a holistic and philosophical approach.
“I dare say on behalf of the government that many premises are encapsulated in the Budget this time around, one that is comprehensive, one that takes into account needs from being still in the womb to infancy until the nation’s future endeavours.
“This should be able to dispel all doubts that the Opposition has been attempting to cast, as in reality they are the ones who are full of doubts themselves. They are doubtful of their own leadership, have suspicion amongst themselves,” he said in his two-hour speech at the Parliament today.
Najib also said there is no certainty in the Opposition’s political leadership and questioned how it could be trusted to provide a sound economic leadership.
