Clare Brown is a liar

(LSS) – Clare Rewcastle-Brown of Sarawak Report has claimed that murdered MACC-linked deputy public prosecutor Kevin Morais sent her a draft of an alleged charge sheet against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak on the 1MDB scandal.

Clare Brown further claimed that Kevin Morais had given her information regarding the MACC probe into former-1MDB subsidiary SRC International and that the lawyer had planned to meet her in London.

Clare Brown is a liar. Here are the reasons why:

1. Former MACC chief Abu Kassim has confirmed that Kevin Morais was transferred out of the MACC in July 2014, one year before the investigations into 1MDB and SRC ever began, and never attended any of the special task force meetings chaired by the former attorney-general.

MACC also said they never sought advice from Morais on both cases. Therefore, Morais could not be, and was not, involved in writing any charge sheet relating to 1MDB or the prime minister.

In fact, Kevin Morais was busy at that time on the case of a army procurement corruption – which was what led to his murder.

Six men have been charged for his murder including the army officer and the on-going open court case is still widely-reported in the media.

2. The fake charge sheet against Najib which were really two pages of text on an empty piece of paper without any letterhead or official stamps were published by Sarawak Report on 28th July 2015.

However, Najib was only interviewed by MACC in December 2015, so how is it possible that the main “suspect” has not yet even been interviewed but a charge sheet already exisedt?

3. In an effort to further claim conspiracy in the murder of Kevin, Sarawak Report and the Pakatan-friendly media suddenly started reporting on Kevin’s brother Charles Suresh Morais who seemingly sprung up from nowhere in Nov 2015.

Charles Morais, who was made a bankrupt in the USA and had faced criminal and fraud charges in the USA, alleged that Kevin was killed by the people in the govt due to what he knew about 1MDB and SRC.

Charles even publicly announced that Kevin passed him a pen-drive with explosive details of the investigations into 1MDB and SRC – and that he will expose the pen-drive when he is safely back in the USA.

When challenged by the authorities to expose the pen-drive, Charles suddenly and very quietly left Malaysia. More than two years later, we have yet to hear about Charles and his “pen-drive”.

At first Clare Brown said Ambiga was her source of information but Ambiga refuses to confirm this.

Now, Clare wants to use a dead person who cannot answer or rebut her.

Clare Brown and Sarawak Report are liars who likes to fabricate stories – just like how they fabricated fake edited photos of Najib/Rosmah and passed it off as real.

Clare claims slain DPP gave her alleged draft charge sheet on Najib

(Malaysiakini) – Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown has claimed that murdered MACC-linked deputy public prosecutor Kevin Morais sent her a draft of an alleged charge sheet, which the authorities later claimed was fake, against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak on the 1MDB scandal.

She made the claim in her defence statement in relation to a defamation suit filed against her in the UK by PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.

She also claimed that she received the document a day after former attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail was removed from his position on July 27, 2015.

Clare Dakwa Kevin Morais Berinya Draf Pendakwaan Terhadap Najib

(Malaysiakini) – Editor Sarawak Report, Clare Rewcastle-Brown mendakwa timbalan pendakwaraya SPRM, Kevin Morais menghantar kepadanya draf pertuduhan terhadap Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak mengenai skandal 1MDB yang kemudian didakwa oleh pihak berkuasa sebagai palsu.

Beliau membuat dakwaan itu dalam pernyataan pembelaan berkaitan saman fitnah yang difailkan terhadapnya di United Kingdom oleh Presiden PAS, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

Beliau juga mendakwa menerima dokumen itu sehari selepas bekas peguam negara Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail dipecat daripada jawatannya pada 27 Julai 2015.
