Police record Raja Petra’s statement in UK
(The Star) – Police confirmed they have recorded a statement from blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin in the United Kingdom.
The statement was recorded in connection with a police report lodged by Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali against Raja Petra’s articles on alleged corruption in the blog Malaysia Today.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said on Saturday (Nov 4) that three officers from Bukit Aman were sent to the United Kingdom to record the blogger’s statement on Wednesday (Nov 1).
On Oct 22, Apandi lodged a police report against Raja Petra for criminal defamation over two articles which alleged that Apandi was involved in corruption.
