Now that Maryam Lee is under attack they don’t like it

Women’s rights organisations, civil society movements and Pakatan Harapan are outraged that Maryam Lee is being attacked due to her public expression regarding #UndiRosak. Persatuan Kesedaran Komuniti Selangor said, “Instead of demonstrating maturity when engaging in the discourse, many supporters of the opposition resorted to unwarranted sexist, misogynist and extremist harassment against Maryam. This included the targeting of her identity as a young woman.”

Yes, Pakatan Harapan supporters have never tolerated differences of opinion and they have always attacked those who do not agree with their views. This is nothing new and supporters of the opposition have always resorted to racist, sexist, misogynist attacks and harassment against those they disagree with and have been most vicious and brutal for a long time now.

Now that one of their own is being attacked they raise objections. It is okay if someone from the other side is being attacked but not okay if it is someone from the opposition. What Maryam is being subjected to is nothing compared to how they attack someone not from the opposition. The bottom line is the opposition supporters lack manners and were poorly brought up.
