RHB refutes Sarawak Report’s fake news

(Bernama) – RHB Banking Group (RHB) has refuted the allegation by the Sarawak Report portal on its website and Facebook yesterday which implicated RHB Bank.

“RHB would like to state that the allegation therein is baseless and untrue,” it said in a statement today.

Yesterday, the portal had published an article alleging that a “staggering sum derived from Employees Provident Fund (EPF) was transferred in January into RHB’s dollar account here of a little known entity named TJJR Diversified (M) Sdn Bhd, a company owned and directed by one woman, supposedly charged with coordinating a major hospital project supported by EPF and the Ministry of Health”.
