Rafidah accuses Raja Petra of accepting ‘dedak’ to write rubbish

(TMI) – A sarcastic Rafidah Aziz today unloaded on blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin, calling him a joke and wondering how much he was being paid to write rubbish.

Malaysia’s best-known trade minister also suggested that the lies against her are an attempt to divert attention from real problems facing the country.

“Stop these diversions from the real issues facing the nation. This British-based turncoat fugitive skunk is indeed a JOKE,” she said in a Facebook post today.

Rafidah said the content of Raja Petra’s most recent article about her is laughable.

“I wonder how much dedak (chicken feed) he was paid (in British pounds?) to write the crap?” she said in the latest salvo at the Manchester-based blogger.

Rafidah, Rais Still Hold Grudge Against Govt, Says Nazri

Last week, he accused Rafidah of abusing approved permits (AP) when she was international trade and industry minister.

“Give him enough ‘dedak’, he will dance to any tune,” Rafidah said.

Rafidah reminded Raja Petra of how not too long ago, he had implicated Prime Minister Najib Razak’s wife, Rosmah Mansor, in the murder of Mongolian translator Altantuya Shaariibuu.

She also posted pictures of the declaration on her Facebook page to drive home the point.

It was his declaration connecting Rosmah to the murder, saying that she was present when Altantuya’s body was blown up, which led to his arrest in July 2008. He was also charged with three counts of criminal defamation over the statutory declaration.

“How dare he make such accusations?” Rafidah said.

“Next time, don’t be surprised, Mr U-Turn can be paid enough to even say ‘All our debts have already been paid from collections from some rich friends somewhere’. Or say that the sun rises in the west.”

Raja Petra claimed she has also amassed RM8 billion, to which Rafidah said: “Maybe his family donated to me. Oh sorry…the ‘donation’ story is already used up by someone else”.

On her allegedly being the “real owner” of the successful AirAsia low-cost carrier, she quipped that the airline’s boss Tony Fernandes and non-independent executive chairman Kamarudin Meranun would have to “eat their hearts out and give way to the real owner”.

She also responded to Raja Petra’s claims that she was a “frequent visitor to casinos in the UK and the US and the high rollers who frequent these clubs know she blows millions at one go at the tables”.

“What’s the name of the exclusive London casino again? I forget!

“Oh… he forgot to add my disappointment on hearing what happened to another of my many international assets… seized in Bali,” Rafidah said, referring to the seizure of businessman Jho Low’s super yacht Equanimity, allegedly bought with funds siphoned off 1Malaysia Development Bhd.

“And didn’t he (Raja Petra) also know I own all the assets, through proxies, of course, everywhere that were seized by the DoJ?”
