Pribumi: All documents requested by RoS have been submitted
(The Star) – Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia says it filed all the documents requested by the Registrar of Societies (RoS) on Thursday (March 29).
“Confirmed. Everything has been done,” said Pribumi media officer Mohd Ikhmal when contacted about the matter on Saturday (March 31).
According to reports, RoS had handed a notice dated Feb 28 to the Pribumi secretary-general.
It was issued in accordance with Section 14(2) of the Societies Act 1966.
Apart from the submission of minutes, the party was also asked to hand over its financial statement.
According to a previous statement by registrar Surayani Ibrahim, the notice was issued because there were complaints lodged by Pribumi members.
The RoS requires the documents to complete their investigation into a possible breach of the party constitution when Pribumi held its annual general meeting last year, following complaints lodged by disgruntled party members.
