Pakatan Harapan, in particular the DAP Chinese, hate PAS mainly because PAS refuses to stay out of the upcoming general election and insists on contesting the election.

Barisan Nasional will be contesting all the parliament and state seats, as will the not-yet-registered Pakatan Harapan. So, unless Pakatan Harapan is prepared to give PAS at least 150 parliament seats (which they will not) and probably about 200 state seats (which they also will not) then PAS has no choice but to contest against BOTH Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan — meaning, in short, three-corner (or more) contests.

PAS is not a member of Pakatan Harapan. In fact, DAP does not want PAS in Pakatan Harapan. If not DAP would not need to have closed down Pakatan Rakyat to set up Pakatan Harapan. And it was DAP — and not PKR and PAS — that closed down Pakatan Rakyat.

DAP asked the Chinese to support PAS hoping that the Malay votes can help Pakatan Rakyat come to power

In 1990, DAP refused to join Angkatan Perpaduan Ummah (APU) because they did not want to go to bed with PAS. So, while Semangat 46 entered into a marriage with PAS, DAP became Semangat 46’s second wife in Gagasan Rakyat.

In 1995, DAP divorced Semangat 46 and left Semangat 46 to continue with its marriage with PAS.

In 1999, DAP entered into a marriage with PAS and then divorced PAS in 2001.

In 2008, DAP again married PAS and in 2015 again divorced PAS.

In Islam that is called Talak Tiga and DAP is suffering from what the Malays call Gila Talak.

So why do the DAP Chinese hate PAS so much? Is it because of RUU355?

RUU355 is a 1993 law passed by the Kelantan State Assembly. DAP says Nik Aziz Nik Mat is a great man and that Abdul Hadi Awang is nowhere near Nik Aziz. But it was Nik Aziz and not Hadi who passed the 1993 Sharia Amendment Bill in the Kelantan State Assembly. Hadi was not even the PAS President yet in 1993.

So why do the DAP Chinese hate PAS?

The reason why the DAP Chinese hate PAS is because Lim Kit Siang has asked the DAP Chinese to hate PAS. In 1999 and 2008 when Kit Siang asked the DAP Chinese to stop hating PAS and to love PAS, the DAP Chinese stopped hating PAS and loved PAS. And in 2001 and 2015 when Kit Siang asked the DAP Chinese to stop loving PAS and to hate PAS, the DAP Chinese stopped loving PAS and hated PAS.
