PAS have around 1.5 million members. If each members donate rm10 that is already RM15 million. If RM100 that’s already RM150 million. And itu belum masuk duit from penyokong PAS like me who are not ahli PAS. And as i said, ahli dan penyokong PAS bukan semua Pak Lebai but also professionals including millionaires, etc.
In Fastaqim 2 gathering in Terengganu, the biggest political gathering for the past decades by only one party mind you, more than 200k people turun. It is estimated from that gathering alone more than a million ringgit of donation was received.
PAS is actually rich. And because of that PAS can have many clubs and special units like Unit Amal. Unit Amal PAS bukan sahaja control gathering, traffic etc. They bantu mangsa banjir kemalangan tanah runtuh semua. They have their own bikers club, cycling club, trekking club, 4×4 club, their own paramedics, divers club, their own media, their own paper and internet tv and radio etc. They are one of the biggest politically affiliated NGOs that is called upon by the authorities like police, bomba etc bila ada bencana.
Unlike BN which depends on government agencies, PAS is like a government of its own with its own ‘agencies’. Cuma army jer PAS tak ada though they are affiliated with a lot of persatuan silat dan pertahankan diri just like UMNO . Rakyat also can see with their own eyes where their donation actually goes to. Unlike PKR DAP etc whom only God knows what happened to such donations.
PAS also help other NGOs like PPIM yang tolong orang benteras Along etc. They have been active with NGOs fighting irregularities within SPR decades before BERSIH exist. BERSIH pun PAS was one of the founders.
PH really underestimate PAS. And lagi bodoh they paint a picture PAS is just Parti Tok Lebai miskin mundur bagai. Do you know zaman Reformasi dulu PAS was at the forefront using the internet as a platform to fight BN? DAP and PKR that time does not have a proper cyber team. 90% was done by PAS and freelance bloggers like RPK and the late MGG Pillai helping DAP and Anwar. MGG Pillai in fact was one of the contributors for PAS paper, Harakah, writing articles etc.

Real political analysts, even yang just couch observers like me, know better. We know the truth what PAS is capable of. RM90 million is nothing to PAS. They have something way way better than just money. And that is their loyal supporters who are growing in numbers. And their membership growth mind you is the most stable and fastest among all political parties in this country. Sesilap one day they will surpass UMNO.
Remember, only UMNO and PAS have members that surpassed jumlah army and police combined in this country. Other parties don’t. PAS have more members than army and police combined, just like UMNO. Itu belum masuk active army and police personnel yang support PAS. And that is something you all especially from PH should really contemplate deeply…
