Is Mahathir going to be assassinated before 9th May?
The only people who would benefit from Mahathir’s assassination would be Kit Siang and the opposition pact. If the opposition pact wins GE14, Mahathir will grab power (unless they arrest him and put him in jail first). And once Mahathir grabs power, he will never let go. He would then get rid of the other opposition pact leaders such as Kit Siang and put them in jail — like what Lee Kuan Yew did when he grabbed power in Singapore.

Three weeks ago, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad criticised the police and the armed forces for supporting Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.
Then Mahathir dropped a bombshell. He asked if the police and army were willing to wait until “some of us are assassinated, including me, before they come to their senses”.

President Marcos fell after Aquino’s assassination in 1983
Mahathir likened Najib to Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos who assassinated his nemesis, Benigno Aquino, in 1983. That assassination resulted in Marcos’s downfall in 1986 and Aquino’s widow, Corazon, took over as the President of the Philippines.
All this sounded like cheap drama on 6th April 2018 when Mahathir first revealed the assassination plot against him. Many, in fact, pooh-poohed the whole thing as rantings of a senile old man. However, since then, investigations have revealed that the assassination of Mahathir may not be nonsense after all.
The fact that Lim Kit Siang kept very silent and never uttered a word made it highly suspicious. If not Kit Siang would have been the first to scream for the police to investigate Mahathir’s allegation. Did Kit Siang know something that he was not telling us?
It seems Mahathir himself knew about this possibility. And it also seems Mahathir knew that it was not Najib but the opposition pact that was plotting his assassination. Was this Mahathir’s warning to Kit Siang to not try anything?
Mahathir is worth more dead than alive to Kit Siang and the opposition pact
As Mahathir said, the assassination of Aquino triggered the downfall of Marcos three years later. So, if the same thing happens to Mahathir, then it will also trigger the downfall of Najib.
But then it was said that Marcos did not order Aquino’s assassination. The assassination was planned by those who wanted Marcos to be blamed for it so that he could be brought down. In this instance Mahathir’s assassination benefits Kit Siang and the opposition pact.
Najib would be a bigger moron than Syed Akbar Ali if he orders Mahathir’s assassination. Najib might as well put a gun to his own head and pull the trigger. That would be faster and more merciful than being brought down for assassinating Mahathir because that would be a fate worse than death.

The safest and best thing to do would be to get rid of Mahathir before 9th May 2018. Then the voters would get very angry and many will vote against Barisan Nasional. The opposition pact would gain enormous sympathy. Najib and Barisan Nasional would be doomed and the opposition pact would march into Putrajaya.
And as a bonus, Mahathir would no longer be in the equation after ‘dying for the cause’ and helping the opposition pact swing the voters due to sympathy over Mahathir’s assassination. This is where the best service Mahathir can ever give the opposition pact is to die before 9th May 2018.
