Opposition pact to be reduced to less than 80 seats
Over the last few days I have been receiving so many messages from so many people asking me my prediction for GE14 and it is getting to be quite a task to reply to hundreds of messages when I have so much other work to do. So, for the sake of all those people who are waiting for my prediction, let me tell you that the opposition pact is going to be reduced to less than 80 seats.

Over the last couple of weeks there have been many predictions made by so many people regarding the outcome of the 14th General Election or GE14. My prediction is the opposition pact is going to win less than 80 parliament seats.
In the 2008 general election, I spoke in Taman Tun, Kelang, Bangsar, Pantai Dalam, Brickfields, Petaling Jaya, a number of places in Penang, etc., and said that Pakatan Rakyat is going to win between 80 to 90 parliament seats plus five states. I also said that Penang and Kedah were going to fall to the opposition (and that Selangor and Perak were 50:50).
That was before Tun Daim Zainuddin predicted the same thing. People, of course, remember what Daim predicted and credit Daim with that prediction.
In 2008 and 2013, they predicted Barisan Nasional was finished because of the opposition crowd, as they are doing in this GE14 as well
In the 2013 general election, I sent WhatsApp messages to a number of friends — lawyer Rosli Dahlan and Free Malaysia Today Editor Nelson Fernandez amongst them — and said that Pakatan Rakyat was going to win less that 90 parliament seats and only three states (they were not going to win back Perak and will lose Kedah).
Rosli forwarded my message to his friends and they all said he was crazy. He was so embarrassed that he stopped forwarding my prediction to them.

On the morning of Polling Day, Nelson phoned me and said that my prediction was wrong. Nelson said the tsunami on the ground was so strong and that it was overwhelmingly in Pakatan’s favour. Barisan is finished, said Nelson.
I asked Nelson if they have already finished counting the votes. No! Have the polling stations closed yet? No, it was still lunch time. Then wait till the votes are counted, I told Nelson. Then call me back. Pakatan is going to win less than 90 seats and three states.
Nelson did call me back and said he is amazed at how spot-on I was. Rosli also said I was the only person he personally knows who said Barisan Nasional is going to win and by how many seats. Everyone else whom he knows in this world said Barisan Nasional was finished. (And I am sure Rosli knows a great number of people).
