Wan Azizah: Nga should have not said what he did about Dr M

(The Star) – Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming (pic) should not have made the comments he did about Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, said Pakatan Harapan president Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail

“We should not say things like that as we are in this together. Dr Mahathir has already made a video of him saying that he wants to correct his past mistakes and that is very noble of him,” she told reporters after speaking at a ceramah in Bukit Naning here on Monday (May 7).

Asked if Pakatan would reprimand Nga, Dr Wan Azizah merely replied: ‘You have to ask DAP on that’.

The DAP leader is heard telling his audience that the DAP will use Dr Mahathir and then “he can go and join the late (former Singapore premier) Lee Kuan Yew to play mahjong”.

Nga is contesting the Teluk Intan parliament seat against Gerakan president Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong.

Nga is also standing in the Aulong state seat against Barisan’s Soo Kay Peng.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Nga apologised for the harsh tone and language used in his speech.
