Just cool off Nga, says Kak Wan

(The Star) – Pakatan Harapan president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has reminded Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming not to make uncalled-for statements about the grouping’s chairman as “we are all in this together”.

Nga had reportedly said in a ceramah that Pakatan and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairman Tun Dr Mahahir Mohamad did not have long to live.

“We should not say things like this. Dr Mahathir already made a video saying he wants to correct his past mistakes and that is very noble of him,” Dr Wan Azizah, known to all as “Kak Wan”, told reporters after speaking at a ceramah in Bukit Naning here yesterday.

Asked if Pakatan would reprimand Nga, she replied: “You have to ask DAP.”

Nga is contesting the Teluk Intan parliamentary seat against incumbent Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong, the Gerakan president.

Nga is also standing in the Aulong state seat against Barisan’s Soo Kay Peng.

In a statement on Sunday, Nga apologised to Pakatan and the public for the harsh tone and language used in his speech.
