Shahrir Samad summoned by MACC, says aide

(The Edge) – Tan Sri Shahrir Samad has been summoned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today, according to an aide of the former Felda chairman.

The Umno Johor Bahru division chief was seen entering the anti-graft agency headquarters at about 9.45am.

It is unclear however, as to which investigation by MACC, Shahrir was summoned to assist.

Shortly after Shahrir’s entry, Umno president and former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi arrived for his second day of questioning by the agency today.
