Jho Low on the move again, flees Macau

Billionaire financier Low Taek Jho, also known as Jho Low (pix), has left Macau for an unknown destination, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun confirmed today.

(The Sun Daily) – He said he received an email from his Macau counterparts on July 9 alerting authorities here of the latest development.

“We received an email from Macau two days ago. The email said that fugitive Jho Low has left Macau for an unknown destination.

“They did not mention the date he left and our Immigration Director Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali yesterday said they believe he has multiple passports or passes,” he told reporters after attending a police function at Bukit Aman police headquarters here today.

Mohamad Fuzi also said with the latest development, it would make tracking down Low tougher.

Yesterday, police said they have so far informed seven countries through the Interpol red notice on Low being sought over the 1MDB scandal.

Police had sent a team to Hong Kong recently, but unfortunately Jho Low had left for Macau.
