Umno suing PDRM to claim back the RM116.7 million confiscated by the police

Nobody from Umno has come forward to claim the RM116mil cash in 26 denominations seized from properties connected to former premier Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department director Comm Datuk Seri Amar Singh said the police have to record the statements of representatives from the political party on the matter as Umno needs to prove the validity of its claim. “However, so far nobody has come forward regarding the cash seized,” he told a press conference at the CCID headquarters.
