PAN has to be less Islamic than PAS to survive

They have to demonstrate that PAN is different and the opposite of PAS because they did promise the voters that the ‘New’ Malaysia is going to be different from the ‘Old’ Malaysia of the last 61 years. If not, what is the purpose of creating PAN if PAN is going to be as Islamic as PAS? To justify PAN’s existence, PAN has to be less Islamic than PAS or else the Malays might as well support PAS instead of PAN.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

What we have been hearing over the last five years since 2013 is that PAS is a ‘Taliban’ party of conservatives, extremists, terrorists, etc. That was why DAP backed and financed the Team B in PAS to try to topple PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang and his Team A. Team B are the modern, moderate or liberal Muslims and are not like those Muslims still stuck in the ‘dark ages’ of the 1600s.

Yes, anyone who diligently follows the tenets of Islam and strictly abides to the teachings of the Qur’an are terrorists and extremists because conservatism translates to extremism and terrorism. That will also mean Prophet Muhammad is a terrorist.

Mat Sabu and his gang of liberal Muslims failed to oust the conservatives so they left PAS to form PAN

Anyway, the DAP-backed Team B failed to oust Team A and instead the entire Team B (save one person) was ousted when they garnered just 20% of the votes. That was when they decided to resign from PAS en bloc to set up a new party called Parti Amanah Negara or PAN.

PAN is supposed to be a party of modern, moderate or liberal Muslims and is the absolute opposite of PAS.

For example, PAS supports Sharia laws while PAN is opposed to Sharia laws (RUU355 being a case in point).

PAS wants Muslims who eat in public during Ramadan to be arrested while PAN wants Muslims to be allowed to eat in public during Ramadan.

Mujahid did not get the memo that he now lives in the ‘New’ Malaysia

PAS wants Muslims who indulge in extramarital sex and adultery to be arrested while PAN wants extramarital sex and adultery to be allowed.

PAS wants Muslims who drink liquor to be arrested while PAN wants Muslims to be allowed to drink liquor.

PAS is opposed to LGBTs while PAN supports LGBTs.

PAS supports religious schools while PAN wants religious schools to be closed down.

Basically, PAS wants Muslims to strictly comply to the Qur’an, Hadith and Sunnah while PAN wants freedom of choice for you to do whatever you want and not be shackled by religious rules.

Muslims who follow the tenets of Islam and strictly abide to the teachings of the Qur’an are terrorists and extremists

Minister of Religious Affairs in the Prime Minister’s Office, Mujahid Yusof Rawa, somehow did not get the memo on this when he lashed out at LGBTs. So now he has been instructed to ‘recognise’ LGBTs and this recognition is being done by having a meeting with them later today.

A meeting is a way of recognising their existence and, according to the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting is based on the spirit of “blessings upon all creations” of God. With the Prime Minister’s daughter, Marina, being the LGBT lobby in the ‘New’ Malaysia, Mujahid does not really have much choice in the matter.

Well, they do have to demonstrate that PAN is different and the opposite of PAS because they did promise the voters that the ‘New’ Malaysia is going to be different from the ‘Old’ Malaysia of the last 61 years. If not, what is the purpose of creating PAN if PAN is going to be as Islamic as PAS? To justify PAN’s existence, PAN has to be less Islamic than PAS or else the Malays might as well support PAS instead of PAN.

Minister to meet LGBT activist to ‘harmonise’ situation

(MMO) – Minister of Religious Affairs in the Prime Minister’s Office Datuk Mujahid Yusof Rawa will meet the one of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) activists whose portrait was taken down from a festival exhibition.

It has been confirmed that the meeting will take place with transgender rights activist Nisha Ayub at 6pm today, at the lobby of Block A of the Putrajaya Islamic Complex.

“The meeting is to harmonise the situation, in line with the principle of Rahmatan Lil’alamin (blessings upon all creation) which remains the core in administering to the Islamic affairs in the country,” said Muhamad Haidir Zainuddin from the Prime Minister’s Office in a statement.

On Wednesday, Nisha’s portrait along with fellow LGBT activist Pang Khee Teik was removed from a photography exhibition at the George Town Festival 2018.

Mujahid later confirmed while at Parliament that he instructed the portraits be removed as it was considered to be promoting LGBT activities, adding it is not in line with the Pakatan Harapan government’s policies.
