Ahmad Faizal Azumu still gets to become MB only because Mahathir nominated him over Amanah or DAP candidates, whilst the other Pakatan component party leaders accepted Mahathir’s bullying kuai-kuai without even a single whimper.

Thus he shouldn’t act so fCking tough – he is only MB because Pakatan Harapan leaders dare not question Mahathir’s push for the lion’s share of the spoils of war.

Perak Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu today expressed disappointment over a state exco voicing in the media an opinion on a land issue contrary to the state government’s stand.

He said Abdul Aziz Bari, who chairs the state education, technology, science and environment committee, should have stated his opinion when given the opportunity at the meeting of the state executive council.

The issue was about giving 999-year land titles to residents of new villages.

Faizal had said that the state government would not issue 999-year land titles as this was contrary to the Federal Constitution, and that the lease period for new villages was at least 60 years, but not exceeding 99 years.

The menteri besar said he welcomed the DAP lawmaker’s views, but it should have been discussed behind closed doors.
