Mahathir attacking China on behalf of the US

China knows that Mahathir and his Pakatan Harapan is in power because the US helped oust Najib Tun Razak and Umno-Barisan Nasional. So, Mahathir and Pakatan owe the US a great favour, which is why they are being nasty towards China. But do not think that China will not fight back. If China dares tell the US to go screw itself, do you think they do not dare tell Malaysia to do the same?

Many may think Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is being foolish for taking on China. In the past, when Mahathir was the Fourth Prime Minister from 1981 to 2003, he took on Britain, Australia and the US. And that made Mahathir the hero in the eyes of most Malaysians because he did what many other more powerful countries did not dare do.

Mahathir may have been a tyrant, he may have been a dictator, he may have been the most corrupt Prime Minister in Malaysian history (a record he holds until today), but he took on the superpowers. So, all his other faults can be forgiven for his guts to take on Britain, Australia and the US.

More than 30 years ago it was the US, UK and Australia; today it is China

Mahathir needs to prove he is still a fighter. More than 30 years ago when he was Malaysia’s Fourth Prime Minister, the west was the economic and military power. Today, China holds that honour. Hence more than 30 years ago Mahathir took on countries such as Britain, Australia and the US. Today, he takes on China.

But countries such as Britain, Australia and the US appointed themselves ‘the policemen of the world’. These white countries decide what is allowed and what is not allowed. They are the guardian of morality and decency. And morality and decency are based on the western interpretation.

Freedom of speech, civil liberties and democracy are what the western world says it is. For example, you are allowed to condemn Muslims but must never condemn Jews. You can attack Muslim women who wear the hijab, niqab, burka or tudung but must never attack men who dress up in women’s clothes.

The west decides the rules and the rest of the world must follow. So, when Mahathir attacks Britain, Australia and the US, the rest of the world claps and cheers and proclaims Mahathir a hero.

But the Chinese do not decide the value system for the world to follow. China did not proclaim itself the policeman of the world. China is not interested in sending its soldiers to the Middle East to kill Muslims like the western countries do. China does not have its version of NDI or IRI that decides which governments must come to power and which governments must be ousted. China does not waste trillions in taxpayers’ money to finance wars and regime changes in other countries.

And that is why China’s economy is strong while the economy of the US is weak. For 68 years since 1950, the US has been wasting only God knows how much money (thousands of trillions) to play politics all over the world and to decide who comes to power and who gets toppled (even in Malaysia). For the last 30 years since 1989, China has been embarking on economic reforms in its “to get rich is glorious” and “never mind if it is a white cat or a black cat as long as it catches a mouse” policy.

All China wants is to make money and make sure that 20% of the world’s population that live in China does not starve (in 1959-1961 an estimated 30 million Chinese starved to death). The US, however, is trying to sabotage China’s economy and is engaged in a trade war with China.

It is not those with the most soldiers and biggest army that rules the world. It is those with the most dollars and the biggest bank account that rules the world. And currently that would be China and not the west. And Mahathir and Pakatan had better take note of that.

Incidentally, Mahathir says he can build the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high-speed railway for just RM28 million per km. In China, the high-speed railway costs RM70-86 million per km. In Europe it costs RM102-160 million per km while in the US it costs RM230-250 million per km. Maybe Mukhriz, Mokhzani or Mirzan (or all three in partnership) should set up a high-speed railway construction company because for sure they will get contracts to build high-speed railways all over the world if they can build it for less than RM30 million per km.
