Operasi Lalang 2.0 has started
Welcome to Mahathir 2.0’s Malaysia 2.0 or New Malaysia where we are going to be entertained with Sodomy 3.0. By the way, the boy is not even jambu so I really wonder whether Anwar has any ‘taste’ or not. At least Saiful jambu jugak so I can understand Anwar going goo-goo-ga-ga over him.

What we see going on now is Operasi Lalang 2.0.
Operasi Lalang 1.0 started in October 1987 when Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad faced the biggest political challenge of his life. So Mahathir used Operasi Lalang 1.0 to hold on to power.
Now, again, Mahathir is facing the threat of getting ousted, just like back in 1987. In 1987, it was the Tengku Razaleigh Hamazah-Tun Musa Hitam team while Anwar Ibrahim and Najib Tun Razak helped Mahathir stay in power.
Operasi Lalang was to help keep Mahathir in power
Today, it is the Anwar Ibrahim-Ahmad Zahid Hamidi team that is the threat while DAP and Azmin Ali are helping to keep Mahathir in power.
But that is not good enough. If 40 MPs from Umno, 25 from PKR, 18 from PAS, plus 40 from Sabah and Sarawak gang up on Mahathir, that would be 123 against Mahathir and less than 100 with him. And Mahathir needs not less than 112 to stay in power.
So, Mahathir has launched Operasi Lalang 2.0 to frighten the 40 or so Umno people. About 50 people in total are on the detention list but if they leave Umno and/or promise not to join the coup, then they will be spared jail.
At least Saiful jambu, not like the Sodomy 3.0 victim
PDRM, MACC and the AGC are being used as the tools of oppression to frighten those who may be thinking of joining the Anwar-Zahid team to reconsider their stand.
Sodomy 3.0 is also on the cards and if Anwar succeeds in getting his 120 or so headcount, then he is going to go down for Sodomy 3.0. Anwar’s ‘victim’ has already given his statement and all it needs is the press of a button for the missile to take off.
