Kit Siang goes ballistic regarding murder cases

Asked if he had spoken to Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad about these high-profile murders, Lim declined to reveal his exact status in pursuing these cases.

(FMT) – Former prime minister Najib Razak does not seem to understand what is being said about several high-profile murder cases, DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang said tonight.

“I have a feeling that either he’s utterly stupid or doesn’t understand what I’m saying, or somebody else is writing for him. I don’t know.

“But I’m profoundly shocked he can utter such gibberish.

“He should answer why he didn’t reopen investigations into high-profile murders when he was prime minister.

“He’s incoherent… don’t know whether he’s going to plead insanity in his subsequent trials,” he said when met by reporters at a ceramah outside the Lukut PKR operations centre.

Lim was responding to Najib’s Facebook post today in which he said it was becoming obvious that Lim was no longer able to counter his challenge to set up a special investigation team to probe several high-profile murders that his detractors have been linking him with for the past decade.

These included the killings of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu, former deputy public prosecutor Kevin Morais and banker Hussain Najadi.

Najib said since Pakatan Harapan had formed the government, it now had the power to order an inquiry into whether he was involved in all these murders he was linked to.

Asked if he had spoken to Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad about these high-profile murders, Lim declined to reveal his exact status in pursuing these cases.

“I don’t have to tell you how I operate. My position is clear, that there should be a reopening of investigations,” he said.
