Anwar Ibrahim said the enemy of PKR is PAS and Umno (READ HERE). That means DAP is not PKR’s enemy.

The bottom line is, since PAS and Umno are the enemies of DAP, then PAS and Umno must also be the enemies of PKR.

Why are PAS and Umno the enemies of DAP? Actually, Umno is not really the enemy of DAP just as long as all the Umno people resign from the party and join PPBM. Hence, in essence, Umno is not really the enemy of DAP if Umno joins PPBM or is absorbed into PPBM.

PAS, however, is DAP’s enemy mainly because PAS is pushing for the Sharia Amendment Bill a.k.a. RUU355. If PAS can agree to drop the Sharia Amendment Bill then DAP can be friends again with PAS like in 1999 and 2008.

PAS in itself is not DAP’s enemy. It is the Sharia Amendment Bill that PAS is pushing for which makes PAS the enemy of DAP. So, no Sharia Amendment Bill, no more enemy. That is the long and short of it all.

And that is why Anwar said PAS is PKR’s enemy. It is because PAS is also DAP’s enemy and any enemy of DAP is an enemy of PKR. And since PAS is DAP’s enemy because of the Sharia Amendment Bill, that means PAS is PKR’s enemy also because of the Sharia Amendment Bill.
