ICERD means no more Shariah laws
The ICERD will correct this transgression and travesty of justice. Muslims and non-Muslims alike will be treated equal and the same. Hence the Shariah will be abolished and Muslims will no longer need to face laws and punishment that non-Muslims are exempted from. That is justice. That is non-discrimination. And that is what the ICERD will offer Muslims.

ICERD means no more discrimination. There will no longer be one country two systems. There will no longer be one system for Bumiputeras and another system for non-Bumiputeras. Or one system for Muslims and another system for non-Muslims.
All Malaysians will be treated equal. You will not be subjected to discrimination just because of your race, religion or gender. Never mind whether you are Malay, non-Malay, Muslim, non-Muslim, male, female or shemale. Everyone is the same and will be treated the same and will receive the same.
No more caning of women under Shariah laws once ICERD is signed
Currently, Muslims suffer discrimination. Many are Muslims because their parents happen to be Muslims and not because they chose to be Muslims. Secretly, many do not believe in Islam or even believe in God. But they are forced to remain Muslims just like in the days of slavery when children of slaves were also forced to be slaves just because of the cruel accident of birth.
Muslims are also subjected to laws that non-Muslims are not subjected to. According to the Malaysian Constitution and the international convention of laws in democratic countries, all citizens are supposed to be equal before the law. Muslims, however, are not equal before the law. Muslims suffer discrimination just because by accident of birth they happen to have been born Muslims.
