If Kit Siang lived in those countries that he mentioned — Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Algeria, etc. — he would have been killed many years ago.

Lim Kit Siang has asked Abdul Hadi Awang, the PAS President, why PAS refuses to ratify the ICERD when 55 of 57 other Muslim countries where 99% or 1.9 billion of the Muslims live have (READ MORE BELOW).
What a stupid question! The answer to that is actually very simple. In those 55 of 57 other Muslim countries where 99% or 1.9 billion of the Muslims live, the non-Muslims do not have political power and have no say in how the country is run. Furthermore, the non-Muslims in those countries do not oppose the Islamic Shariah laws or Hudud like they do in Malaysia.
In short, the non-Muslims in those 55 of 57 other Muslim countries where 99% or 1.9 billion of the Muslims live do not challenge Islam or insist that those countries are turned into secular countries, and so on, like the non-Muslims in Malaysia do.
In Malaysia, the non-Muslims openly challenge Islam and insist that Malaysia is a secular country (meaning religious laws such as Biblical or Qur’anic laws are unconstitutional). The non-Muslims accept Islamic laws and do not kurang ajar and call them barbaric and uncivilised laws like the non-Muslims in Malaysia do.
Those Muslim countries which have ratified the ICERD that Kit Siang proudly talks about also have Hudud and beheadings for non-Muslims
Kit Siang quotes Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Algeria, etc., as Muslim countries that have ratified the ICERD. If Kit Siang can also accept the Islamic system in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Algeria, etc., where people like him who challenge Islam or the Shariah are put to death, then PAS can ratify the ICERD.

(The Sun Daily) – If ratification of International Covenant on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) means a condemnation of the Muslims to a life of injustice and oppression, why 48 of 50 countries where Muslims make up a majority of the population have ratified ICERD, Lim Kit Siang asked today.
He posted this question to PAS President Datuk Seri Hadi Awang who said that all Muslims must oppose the ratification of ICERD.
Lim Kit Siang pointed out to him that ICERD had been ratified by countries representing 99% of the 1.9 billion Muslims in the world, including countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, UAB, Algeria, Pakistan, Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco, Indonesia and Bangladesh.
“While we wait for an answer from the PAS President, Hadi can also explain why 55 of the 57 countries of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) States have ratified ICERD, except for Malaysia and Brunei,” Lim said in a statement today.
“Is there a suggestion that somehow the 99% the world’s 1.9 billion Muslims, who live in 55 of the 57 OIC countries, have been misled and not as Muslim as Hadi would want them to be?
“If ratification of ICERD means a condemnation of the Muslims to a life of injustice and oppression, can Hadi explain why 48 of 50 countries where Muslims make up a majority of the population have ratified ICERD?”
