At last, DAP has awoken a sleeping tiger
DAP has summoned the Chinese underworld for a meeting to request that they do not trigger any incident. Even though the Chinese underworld may possess guns while the Malays do not, if they are used on the Malays this may result in the Malay Regiment stepping in to help the Malays, like what happened in May 1969.

Lim Kit Siang and his son, Lim Guan Eng, are warning the Chinese about a possible May 13 Version 2.0. Of course, they are blaming ‘extremists who are exploiting the ICERD issue to trigger racial unrest’. Kit Siang also said it is not worth ratifying and adopting the ICERD if it is going to result in May 13 Version 2.0.
It is a bit too late for Kit Siang and Guan Eng to regret what they and other DAP leaders such as LTTE Ramasamy, Superman Hew, the Nga and Ngeh warlords of Perak, Tony Pua, and so on have done. Nasi sudah jadi bubur, as the Malays would say.
The Malays are not so easy to wake up. For almost 50 years since 1969 they have tolerated insults to their race and religion. However, once they do wake up, they would, as the British say, run amok.
The Special Branch has reported that over the last few months the number of guns and assault rifles smuggled over the Malaysian-Thai border has increased drastically. The Special Branch is worried that this may not be a coincidence but in preparation of ‘something’.
This was what prompted the Prime Minister’s Office to announce that the ratification of the ICERD has been called off. They hope this will defuse the situation and allow the Special Branch time to find out where the smuggled guns and assault rifles have ended up.

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been advised that the situation is very dangerous and all it needs is one minor incident to spark the explosion, which was why he called off the ratification of the ICERD.
DAP has been very reckless and irresponsible in putting the lives of the Chinese in danger. The Chinese community and business leaders should come out and openly chide DAP and tell them to stop pushing Malaysia to the brink of a race war. Keeping silent is no longer an option and there is no such thing as remaining neutral.
As Margaret Thatcher once said, standing in the middle of the road means you are in danger of getting hit by cars traveling both ways.
