Barisan rejects are now Pakatan darlings
That is how you get rehabilitated in Malaysia. If you have stolen money during the previous government, you can clean that money by donating some of it to the current government.
NO HOLDS BARRED

This news report says it all: Deepak Jaikishan crosses over from Umno to Pakatan Harapan.
Deepak Jaikishan used to be the lowest of life form who epitomises corruption and abuse of power. He was a typical example of those whom Pakatan Harapan would like to throw into jail for 100 years if they ever came to power.
Well, Pakatan Harapan did come into power in May this year. However, instead of throwing people like Deepak into jail, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Azizah roll out the red carpet for him.
It is all about money. Deepak is throwing money like there was no tomorrow. In fact, for Deepak there would be no tomorrow unless he throws his money at Pakatan Harapan.
Anyway, it is not really his money. He did not earn the money the hard way by selling carpets. According to Pakatan Harapan, he stole the money by abusing his relationship with former Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak. That is what Pakatan Harapan says, anyway.
But now he is cleaning his money by donating some of it to Pakatan Harapan. And as a bonus he, yet again, gets to rub shoulders with the prime minister and deputy prime minister.
And since he is sharing his ill-gotten gains with Pakatan Harapan, they no longer want to throw him into jail for 100 years.
That is how you get rehabilitated in Malaysia. If you have stolen money during the previous government, you can clean that money by donating some of it to the current government.
