Bank Negara international reserves down to US$101.4b as at Dec 14


(The Edge) – Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) said today its international reserves amounted to US$101.4 billion as at Dec 14 this year.

“The reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.4 months of retained imports and is 1.0 time the short-term external debt,” BNM said in a statement today.

On Dec 7 this year, BNM said in a statement its international reserves amounted to US$102 billion as at Nov 30.
