The political nonsense continues today…
All it needs is a political spin to exaggerate or create a fiction beyond reality to the level of nonsense.
Malaysiakini published an article in Malay entitled: Bani Israel dan Malaysia 2019. It is quite relevant and a good analogy put together.
The Quranic, or for Christians, Biblical story of Moses is the struggle of the children of Israel under the cruelty of the Pharaoh of Egypt and the Prophet Moses freed them from bondage to cross the parted Red Sea.
To equate the Children of Israel and Pharaoh with Malaysia Baru and UMNO respectively, came off as an exaggeration. Could Tun Dr Mahathir be the acceptable Moses that led the children of Malaysia Baru out of the tyranny of UMNO.
It was during the reformasi era that he was then labelled as Mahafiraun.
Upon crossing the Red Sea, the Children of Israel had their disagreements and parted ways into diaspora.
Apparently, the Children of Malaysia Baru will be quarrelling soon with Anwar and Azmin ready to cross swords, claimed Joceline Tan in her two articles; Azmin, Hisham ‘reunited’ in Morocco, and Is Azmin burning his bridge?.
The motion for Mahathir to remain as PM for the full term means unity among the Children of Malaysia Baru is cracking.
It is Moses or the past Maha-Pharoah that is the hands creating disunity amongst the new Children of Israel or Malaysia Baru as the case is now.
