Azmin convinced Dr M best choice to lead the country

Datuk Seri Azmin Ali is convinced that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is the best choice to lead the country and wants him to continue doing so.

(The Star) – “Thank you to the people of Malaysia for convincing me that Tun@chedetofficial is the best choice to lead the country,” the PKR deputy president said in a tweet on Sunday (Jan 27).

Azmin, who is also the Economic Affairs Minister, said the Prime Minister also vowed to serve until the end of his days for the people and the country.

“Alhamdulillah, continue your service Tun,” he said in an earlier tweet.

Prior to GE14, the Pakatan component parties agreed that if the coalition won, Dr Mahathir would be the Prime Minister for two years before handing over the reins to Port Dickson MP Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Azmin has a rocky relationship with Anwar, who is also PKR president, with recent disagreements over appointments to the party supreme council and state chairmanships.
