Sarawak Report now says Umno gave PAS RM1.95 million, not RM90 million
The MACC itself has not indicated whether they have found the RM90 million cheque or not. But then the silence of the MACC is deafening and is worth more than 1,000 words. In short, they have not found the RM90 million cheque. If not, by now they would be screaming about the RM90 million cheque from the rooftops.

Dr Mahathir gave Terengganu RM643 million and another RM1.1 billion is on the way, which Sarawak Report did not mention
Sarawak Report now says Umno gave PAS RM1.95 million to cover the ‘deposit calun’ for the 130 seats it contested in the previous general election on 9th May 2018. However, Sarawak Report did not publish any evidence to support this allegation.
RM1.95 million is far short of the RM90 million that Sarawak Report originally said Umno gave PAS. In fact, Husam Musa said he had personally seen the RM90 million cheque, which he told the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) two nights ago when they recorded his statement.
Husam said he personally saw the RM90 million cheque and after saying that he coincidentally got a stroke
PAS has given its accounts books and copies of the bank statements to the MACC to assist them in their investigation. The MACC has also been in touch with the banks concerned but, so far, they have not been able to trace the RM90 million cheque that Husam said he saw.
Anyway, the figure has now been reduced from RM90 million to just RM1.95 million. So all the MACC needs to do is to record the statements from the 130 PAS candidates in the previous general election to ask them where their deposit calun gave from.
Clare Brown said S. Ambiga told her the story of the RM90 million cheque
If the 130 PAS candidates in the previous general election cannot prove that the money DID NOT come from Umno, then the MACC can arrest and charge them under AMLA or the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
Giving donations is not a crime in Malaysia unless the money came from illegal sources. According to Sarawak Report, the money was stolen from 1MDB. So the MACC will need to first prove the deposit calun for the 130 PAS candidates was stolen from 1MDB to be able to arrest and charge them in court.
Rafizi Ramli said the RM90 million cheque story came from Husam, who personally saw the cheque
Meanwhile, the MACC is also expected to investigate the PAN or Amanah candidates who received money from DAP, which is believed to have come from Israel. DAP is said to have received hundreds of millions in donations from Israel, which the party has thus far not been able to prove is not true.
Pakatan Harapan, with the help of Sarawak Report, Malaysiakini and the other Soros funded news portals, have stepped up this “Umno gave PAS money” fitnah campaign the last few weeks because of the Semenyih by-election. Pakatan Harapan is worried that any cooperation between Umno and PAS will mean a defeat for Pakatan Harapan or PPBM.
The PPBM candidate with the fake degree is in trouble so they need to play up the “Umno gave PAS RM90 million” story
In fact, the candidate is not acceptable to the PPBM election machinery on the ground in Semenyih. Furthermore, he has been caught faking his university degree and admitted that it was an oversight or mistake and not intentional (he said he forgot to update his CV).
